The puppeteer’s stage is an interior environment—a classic circus tent modernized through alchemy and magic. The central marionette, the puppeteer’s first great achievement, supports the structure and functions as multiple stages simultaneously, with elements moving in and out of its body in a dance of fabrics and gears. Inside, the puppeteer controls the entire circus, while the tiny actors wait patiently for their turn under the spotlights.
